Barclays’ head of consumer research in Europe has topped a closely-watched ranking of bank analysts, as Bank of America took first place overall across the region.
Warren Ackerman, who leads Barclays’ consumer investment research team in Europe, has finished first in the Extel ranking of analysts for the second year running, at a critical time for the industry following the unwinding of some MiFID II regulations this year.
