Barclays has tapped a senior BNP Paribas trader to co-head its G10 FX trading unit as the UK lender bolsters its macro business.

Torsten Schöneborn has joined as co-head of FX trading for the 10 most heavily traded currencies in the world, the bank said in a statement, and will work alongside Jerry Minier leading the division.
