Barclays Capital has pulled off a massive coup for its debt business by hiring Grant Kvalheim, John Winter and Peter Goettler from Deutsche Bank.

The three have played a significant role in the success of Deutsche Bank's debt business and contributed heavily to its impressive first quarter results in which the investment banking arm - driven by fixed income - delivered strong growth.
