Doug Decker has crossed over from equity-linked research at Barclays Capital to replace Claude Rieffel as head of convertible bond origination.

Rieffel left the UK bank in August. Decker joined Barclays Capital in 2001 as head of convertible bond research. He had previously worked at Morgan Stanley in New York for seven years where he was a vice-president of convertible bond research responsible for credit analysis of convertible bond issuers.
