Barclays chief executive Jes Staley has told the bank's shareholders that he does not expect to have to move UK investment bank staff into the European Union as a result of Brexit.

Speaking at the bank’s annual general meeting today, Staley described the issue of passporting investment banking services into the EU after the UK leaves as “wholly manageable”.
