The business world is skewed in the favour of straight, white men and it is up to banks and major corporations to change it, according to the chief executive of Barclays.

Jes Staley, who has been at the helm of one of the UK’s largest banks for just over a year, said recognising inequality was a worthy step, but financial institutions needed to address and change it.
