Barclays chairman says job losses ‘not the most important thing’ about Brexit

Barclays chairman John McFarlane is more concerned about the financial and capital implications of Brexit on his bank than the potential job loss that could result from the UK's departure from the European Union.

Speaking to the House of Lords EU Financial Affairs Sub-Committee on Wednesday, the UK banking executive said the human cost of Brexit at Barclays would be "relatively modest".
