Barclays co-head of Emea FIG Piñel departs after six years

The UK lender has seen a raft of senior changes to its dealmaking team in recent months

The co-head of Barclays’ financial institutions group in Europe has left the bank in the latest senior dealmaker change at the UK lender. 

Enrique Piñel, who has led Barclays’ FIG team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa since 2020, is exiting the bank after a six-year stint, according to people familiar with the matter.
