Barclays compliance chief joins Wells Fargo

The group head of compliance at Barclays, who played a key role in the drive to transform the UK bank's culture in the wake of the Libor-rigging scandal, is to join Wells Fargo next year.

Mike Roemer, who has 27 years' experience in the financial services sector, will become Wells Fargo's chief compliance officer in January, the company announced today.
