Barclays hired Credit Suisse dealmaker Cathal Deasy as part of a shake-up of its investment bank, just three months after he was handed a bigger role at the Swiss lender. The veteran dealmaker is set to co-head Barclays' global banking division alongside former Morgan Stanley banker Taylor Wright.
A senior UBS dealmaker left the Swiss bank after four years to become chief financial officer at a company that produces fake meat. Julie Sonies, who led UBS's coverage of retail companies within its investment bank in Europe, has become CFO of Redefine Meat.
