A swathe of major employers including Barclays, Deutsche Bank and UBS have left an influential group that promotes mental health in the City after the organisation doubled its fees and asked members to get more involved.
Clifford Chance, Aberdeen Asset Management, which signed up before its merger with Standard Life, and Aon have also left the City Mental Health Alliance, which was set up in 2013 after a number of banker suicides and scrutiny on long working hours in the City. The group now has 21 members, down from 40 last year.
