Barclays has agreed to extend its stay in Canary Wharf for another five years in a boost to the financial centre that has seen high-profile tenants shift elsewhere this year.

The UK lender has extended its lease on a 32-storey tower at One Churchill Place until 2039, according to a statement from Canary Wharf Group.
