Barclays has hired two senior Credit Suisse dealmakers in the latest example of rivals taking advantage of the troubles at the Swiss bank.

Yuri Shakhmin will join Barclays as a managing director in its global industrials group in July, according to a statement from the bank. He will report into Richard Probert and Asim Mullick, co-heads of industrials for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
