Barclays Capital has hired Vince Balducci as global head of risk finance in the US to manage the firm's credit risk arbitrage and credit derivatives activity.

Balducci, who joins Barclays Capital in New York, was a managing director at Deutsche and head of over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives for North America from 1996 to 1998. Previously he was head of dollar swap derivatives at Merrill Lynch in New York.
