Barclays has bolstered its European equities unit with a senior hire from Citigroup.

Anita Tanna, who has spent the past 12 years at Citigroup in various roles in senior equities sales, has joined Barclays as head of generalist and specialist cash sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to a person familiar with the matter.
