Barclays promoted a swathe of senior capital markets bankers as the UK lender continues to reshape the top of its investment bank.

Tom Johnson and Peter Mason, who have been leading its equity and debt capital markets business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, respectively, have been promoted to co-heads of capital markets in the region, according to people familiar with the matter.
