The new head of global capital markets at Barclays has named a new leadership team as he aims to take more risks and grow revenues across the business.

Jean-Francois Astier, who was Barclays' head of global leveraged finance, was given his new capital markets post as part of a reshuffle of the corporate and investment bank announced last week by divisional head Tim Throsby.
