The High Court also heard that Jenkins was paid £39m yearly compensation at least two years in a row

Former Barclays banker Roger Jenkins received an exit package of “more than £50m” when he left Barclays in 2009, the High Court heard.

While giving evidence on 13 July, the former chair of the bank’s Middle Eastern business said that his yearly total compensation – pay and bonuses – was £39m in 2007 and it was “the same the previous year and the previous year”.
