Canadian investment bank RBC Capital Markets, which is embarking on a European build-out, has hired a team of telecoms analysts from rival Barclays, according to three people familiar with the move.

The group of analysts is thought to include team co-head Jonathan Dann and as many as four colleagues, according to one of the people familiar with the matter.
