The head of Barclays' European technology media and telecoms deals team has left for boutique Baird in the latest senior exit from the UK lender.

Pat Guerin has joined Baird as co-head of global M&A, the bank said in a statement announcing his appointment. He leaves Barclays after nearly five years, having previously headed up sell-side M&A for Europe and the Middle East. He was promoted to head of TMT for Emea in 2021.
