Barclays' business servicing armis cutting one-third of its financial sponsors team in the latest round of redundancies to hit the banking and private equity businesses.

Barclays Commercial, which specialises in leveraged finance, structured project finance and risk management, is slashing about 23 jobs. London will bear the brunt of the cuts although it will also affect its UK offices in Manchester and Leeds.
