Barra, the risk management company, has brought to an end its five-year partnership with Russell/Mellon Caps, the performance measurers, which together formed the risk analysis company Risk Reporting.

Russell/Mellon Caps is taking over full ownership of Risk Reporting, which will continue to use Barra's systems to provide data to institutional investors on the investment risks they are taking.
