Outspoken barrister Jolyon Maugham has said Magic Circle law firm Allen & Overy blacklisted him after he tweeted about killing a fox with a baseball bat at Christmas in 2019.

Maugham sparked a social media furore on Boxing Day that year after he revealed he had clubbed a fox to death with a baseball bat while wearing a kimono after the animal became entangled in netting in his London garden.
