A barrister has been suspended from practice for six months after a tribunal found he made inappropriate sexual comments to an aspiring lawyer he was supervising on work experience.

Robert Michael Kearney, who was called to the Bar in 1996, “engaged in inappropriate conduct of a sexual nature” to a woman he was supervising on work experience, according to a report of the 19 March hearing from The Bar Tribunals & Adjudication Service.
