Equity manager Barry Norris has decided to take full ownership of Argonaut Capital Partners, the £1.4 billion investment boutique he set up over a decade ago.

Argonaut was started with the backing of Ignis Asset Management, subsequently bought by Standard Life Investments, which has agreed to dispose of its minority stake following regulatory approval.
