Louise Barton has won the right to have her sexual discrimination and equal pay case against Investec Henderson Crosthwaite, her former employer, reheard in front of new tribunal following a ruling by the Employment Appeals Tribunal.
Barton, a former top-ranked media analyst, had claimed a lack of transparency in Investec's bonus scheme. The original tribunal ruled that secrecy and lack of transparency over bonuses were a vital part of investment banking culture.
