Basta resurfaces in TMT with SuSE Linux as his first deal

Victor Basta has resurfaced in his first deal since leaving Broadview, the technology, media and telecoms (TMT) investment bank where he was executive chairman of non-US business.

Basta co-founded London-based Arma Partners in March with Paul-Noël Guély, a former Goldman Sachs director. It is advising SuSE Linux, a German technology company being bought by Novell, the US technology group, for $210m (€183m).
