Bats Chi-X Europe, the region's largest alternative share trading platform, has appointed the former general counsel at Citadel's European hedge fund to its board, following its upgrade this week to a fully-fledged stock exchange.

Rebecca Fuller, most recently general counsel and head of compliance at Citadel Europe, joined the board of Bats Trading Ltd UK this week, according to Companies House filings. She has joined in a non-executive capacity, according to a spokesman for the firm.
