AGF Private Equity, the private equity arm of the French insurance group, has appointed Christophe Baviere as chief executive following the departure of Antoine Valdes.

Valdes, along with fellow board member Jean-Francios Paumelle, is leaving the company to pursue an outside venture. Luc Maruenda is taking Paumelle's place on the board.
