BC Partners buys TeleColumbus for €510m

Deutsche Bank is to sell its TeleColumbus cable division to BC Partners, the private equity firm, for €230m ($256m) less than the German bank paid for it in 1999.

BC Partners will pay €510m for TeleColumbus, and the management team will remain with the company. When Deutsche Bank bought the division, it paid DM1.45bn (€740m).
