UK-based BC Partners has made its first investment in Greece buying 51.6% of European casino operator Hyatt Regency Hotels and Tourism. The deal values the company at more than €910m ($1.1bn). BC Partners is expected to make an offer for the remaining 48.4%.

Nikos Stathopoulos, a partner at BC Partners, believes the deal will be the first of a number in the country.
