BC Partners, one of the largest independent European buyout sponsors, is significantly expanding its activity in Europe with new hires and the largest European buyout fund to date.

The €3.5bn ($3.2bn) is the partnership's seventh fund and it was raised in just under six months with 65% of the capital coming from previous investors.
