Bear Stearns has hired a Credit Suisse banker as co-head of its European structured credit trading business as part of the US investment bank's drive to expand in Europe.

Alan Yeoh joins Bear Stearns in June as a managing director to work alongside fellow trading co-head Tim Armitage. Armitage was recently promoted in expectation of Yeoh's arrival at the bank.
