Bear Stearns, the US investment bank, has boosted its telecom research team with the hire of Jonathan Dann as a senior telecoms analyst within its European equities research department.

Dann, who has covered the telecom sector for six years, joins Bear Stearns from HSBC, where he covered large and medium-sized telecom companies for over two years. Before HSBC, Dann worked on the buyside as an equities analyst for the Universities Superannuation scheme.
