Bear Stearns has hired Timothy Wilson as head of European health care and global biotechnology equity research in London.

Wilson, who holds a PhD in molecular biology from Cambridge University, joins from SG Cowen, where he was head of global biotechnology research. He has been biotechnology analyst for the past 12 years at firms such as UBS and Hambrecht & Quist.
