Bear Stearns has hired Mark Moffat from ABN Amro to join its principal and asset-backed (ABS) finance group.

Moffat joins Bear Stearns in London as managing director in the group, where he will focus on CDOs (collateralised debt obligations). He will report to Andy Clapham, who heads the group.
