Bear Stearns rates head joins ex-SSSB bankers at hedge fund

George Polychronopoulos, European head of interest rate trading at Bear Stearns, has quit to join Endeavour Capital Management, a $650m (€605m) London-based hedge fund set up by three former bankers at Citigroup/Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (SSSB).

Polychronopoulos will work as a senior trader at Endeavour, which is a global fixed income relative value hedge fund founded in June 2000 by Paolo Kind, Paul Matthews and Ulf Wissen, who worked together on the fixed income arbitrage desk at Citigroup.
