Berenberg has picked up 10 corporate broking clients this year — almost as many as in the whole of 2018 — as the German bank catches up on an ambitious growth target for its UK investment banking business.

The 428-year-old banking group has already revealed the names of six, and David Mortlock, global head of investment banking, said the remaining four would be announced soon.
