Berenberg, the investment bank, has made three new hires. Iro Papadopoulou, formerly of UBS and Merrill Lynch, joins in specialist sales, having previously worked as investor relations officer at the Bank of Cyprus. Richard Payman joins as an equity salesman after a year at Hamilton Court Capital following six years at Canaccord Genuity. His initial client focus will be on special situation and event-driven hedge funds. Anita Surana joins as an equity salesperson focusing on UK to UK coverage, having worked for seven years at ABN Amro/RBS. The hires are all based in London.
