Berkshire Capital, the US-based investment bank that specialises in advising financial services companies, has hired an advisory director to work in Frankfurt.

Patrick von Stauffenberg joins Berkshire Capital after spending 10 years running his own private business in a venture with the Otto Group, the German retailer. He created, placed and administered tax-leveraged leasing funds and provided financial advisory services.
