UK venture investment, as a proportion of all European venture investment, has dropped to its lowest level since 2000. Figures from Dow Jones VentureSource show UK companies, which traditionally received about a third of Europe's venture investment, attracted just 16% of all investment in the second quarter. Deal values fell 44% on the previous quarter to €211 million. The figures include entry and follow-on investments.
