The likelihood of Sadiq Khan clinching the title of mayor of London for another term is all but certain, according to online traders, though unlikely candidates are battling for second place.

Khan’s chances of securing an outright win in the 6 May election is at more than 98%, odds on trading platform Smarkets showed a day before the vote.
