Brokerage firm BGC Partners has hired a former senior trading executive at Commerzbank and Barclays as its new head of credit strategy in London.

BGC, which operates across the financial and real estate markets, said in a January 10 statement that it has hired Arran Rowsell to oversee the coordination of credit strategy across BGC Partners, Mint Partners and RP Martin in the UK.
