Barclays Global Investors, a subsidiary of UK bank Barclays, has appointed a head of transition management for Europe and Asia ex-Japan as the business' code of practice comes under increasing scrutiny.
Lachlan French joins from State Street Global Markets Europe, where he held the position of managing director and head of transition management for the past six years. He previously worked at Royal Sun Alliance Asset Management in London in various roles, and became director of derivatives and portfolio trading before leaving to join State Street.
