Barclays Global Investors (BGI) has launched an asset allocation fund seeking to outperform the FTSE 100 index by 15% a year.

The fund follows the successful launch of BGI's Ascent Asset Allocation fund in April, which aims to achieve a return 20% higher than a seven-day bank deposit.
