Barclays Global Investors (BGI) has appointed Susan van Dootingh from ABN Amro as business development and client relationship manager in the firm's fixed income strategy team.

Van Dootingh will work in the UK-based fund manager's continental European team, reporting to Andrew Wealls, head of fixed income strategy. She will also work closely with BGI's Benelux office in Amsterdam.
