BGI's Dunn steps down

Patricia Dunn, global chief executive of Barclays Global Investors, has decided to step down because of ill health.

Her position will be filled by Blake Grossman and Andrew Skirton, who have been appointed co-global chief executives. Dunn, who is fighting breast cancer, will stay on as a non-executive vice-chairman.
