BIAM assets sink by €2bn

Bank of Ireland Asset Management, the fund manager, today said assets under management fell €1.9bn ($2.2bn) to €45bn in the year to March 31 following the departure of top managers and below-average returns at several of its funds.

Despite the full-year drop, the figure represents a rise of €1bn in the six months since September 30, when total funds under management hit a low of €44bn.
