The UK arm of Bank of Ireland Asset Management (BIAM) has won a £210m (€298m) brief from the Northern Ireland Local Government Officers' Superannuation Committee to run global equities, bringing BIAM's total value of new business won this year to £711m.
BIAM has won eight new mandates this year ranging across global equity, global equity ex-UK and European equity for institutional investors from a number of sectors. These include the Law Society, British Sugar, the Plumbing Industry Scheme and St James's Place. Lincolnshire County Council, which was already a client of BIAM, has awarded the fund manager an additional global equity brief.
