The incoming administration of President-elect Joe Biden has signalled it will rescind an order signed by President Donald Trump on 18 January that lifts the ban on travel to the US from the UK, EU and Brazil.

Trump signed an order lifting restrictions imposed in March that would allow travellers from the UK, Ireland, the EU Schengen free travel zone and Brazil to fly direct to the US from 26 January.
